Honoring Your Dog’s Nature and Enhancing Your Daily Life Together

My name is Sarah and I’m a professional dog trainer specializing in obedience and behavior modification, focused on helping dogs and their people live balanced, enjoyable lives together. The Daily Dog was founded on a simple idea: Everyone wants a dog they can peacefully coexist with and confidently include in everyday life.
I believe that good behavior is built through fulfillment, not suppression. Training isn’t just about teaching commands—it’s about building a lifestyle that supports a dog’s mental and emotional needs. When those needs are met, good behavior follows naturally. My training approach heavily emphasizes on genetic fulfillment and structured play as essential tools for building confidence, engagement, and clear communication. Purposeful play isn’t just fun—it helps dogs learn self-control, strengthens the relationship between dogs and their people, and creates calm, reliable behavior in real-world situations.
I work closely with owners throughout the training process, teaching practical skills and clear communication that creates lasting results and a stronger relationship with your dog. Whether we’re working on foundational obedience or more challenging behavior issues, my goal is real-life results: peaceful time at home, enjoyable outings, and a dog you genuinely enjoy daily life with.
Obedience training provides the foundation for a well-rounded dog. Clear communication and basic skills help dogs navigate the world with confidence, improve focus around distractions, and create calm, reliable behavior at home and beyond.
The Daily Dog’s behavior modification programs are designed for dogs with more challenging behavior concerns. I address these issues by creating clear structure, improving emotional regulation, and building confident, safer responses that carry over into real life.
Aggression and Reactivity: Growling, snapping, resource guarding (food, toys, space), territoriality, dog-on-dog aggression. *At this time, I am not taking on severe human aggression cases.
Anxiety Disorders: Separation anxiety (destructive chewing, howling when alone), noise phobias (thunderstorms, fireworks)
Fear Based Issues: Barking, lunging, hiding, trembling, or reactivity towards specific people, dogs, or objects (like vacuum cleaners).
Compulsive Behaviors: Excessive licking, tail chasing, circling, or pacing.
Designed to give puppies the best possible start. Through positive socialization, beginner obedience, and foundational life skills, we help build confident puppies and set the stage for a lasting, functional relationship between you and your dog. Beginner, intermediate and advanced level programs available.
Every dog is unique, and a behavior consultation allows me to understand your dog on a deeper level. Through direct observation and a discussion of your goals, I can accurately assess needs and design a personalized, highly tailored program that aligns with your lifestyle and expectations
Private in-home lessons bring professional dog training directly to your environment, allowing me to observe real behaviors where they naturally occur and create a personalized plan that fits your home, schedule, and lifestyle. It’s a convenient, efficient way to achieve results—without the hassle of travel—so you and your dog can make meaningful progress right where it matters most.
Based in my relaxed residential environment, The Daily Dog’s Board and Train program delivers concentrated, results-driven training under professional supervision. Through daily structure, thoughtful social exposure, and controlled environmental challenges, dogs learn faster, gain confidence, and build meaningful habits. This extended format allows for me to proof skills, shape emotional regulation, and create real-life reliability—benefits that are hard to replicate in short lessons or busy kennel settings. Instead, training takes place in a calm setting where dogs receive consistent interaction and individualized attention throughout the day.
Short-term boarding offers a calm, comfortable environment where dogs are treated as if they’re my own. Instead of being one of many in a busy kennel with minimal personal attention, your dog enjoys real care, companionship, and consistency throughout their stay. It’s a more thoughtful and reliable alternative that gives you the freedom to travel or focus on life, while knowing your dog is safe, understood, and genuinely cared for
*Short-Term Boarding is offered exclusively to those who have completed a training program.

Sarah is an incredibly kind and patient trainer. She really takes her time to understand our pup and what works best for us. She not only works on skills with the dog but also teaches me how to continue training so we get the most out of the sessions. Our most recent session was impressive. We were able to walk around the park with the pup off leash, which was our ultimate goal!!

Sarah is amazing and I would recommend her again and again. We started working with her when our dog became reactive. She took the time to help our dog learn he didn’t have to react to everything instead of just teaching him blind obedience. Once we had worked through some of the reactivity then she focused on obedience and showing us how to continue to work with him. It is clear that she loves what she does and was great to work with. She was also great about working with my schedule!

Sarah has been an absolute miracle worker with my dogs! Both were reactive in public situations, no matter human or animal. My shepherd was with her for 4 weeks as a board and train and came home practically a brand new dog. He no longer has reactivity around people or dogs and he’s fully e-collar trained. He already had a good foundation of obedience, but now he stops on a dime whether to recall, sit, or down. My other dog had less obedience training and was stubborn as can be, but she fully listens now! She is also getting better with her reactivity as with her we chose to do the lesson package. Sarah is always super responsive when it comes to any questions I’ve had and she has been super patient as I learn how dog training really works. I can’t recommend her services enough! For any future dog I will 100% be bringing them to her, to not only avoid any reactivity problems, but to really build their foundation of obedience.
